"Devara Section 1," the following film from Indian star NTR Jr after the Brilliant Globe and Oscar-winning "RRR," has acquired $3.5 million in overall ticket pre-deals, the makers have uncovered.
The film is delivered by Kosaraju Hari Krishna and Sudhakar Mikkilineni under the flags NTR Expressions ("Bimbisara") and Yuvasudha Expressions separately and is introduced by Nandamuri Kalyan Smash.
The Thursday world debut at Hollywood's Egyptian Auditorium sold out its 516 seats shortly, the makers said. Aside from the U.S., where the film has acquired $2.5 million in ticket pre-deals for its Sept. 27 delivery, it has proactively amassed AUD$300,000 ($206,700) in Australia and sold 24,000 tickets in the U.K. for Day 1 shows.(more)
